Video Production

Intermediate Level
CTE Pathway | Arts, Media, and Entertainment

Video Production focuses on advancing students from being able to crew a production into students who are able to lead design and production elements necessary for a successful video production. Students learn video editing, script creation, scheduling, color correction, sound editing. Students additionally are taught the different opportunities available within the Video Production umbrella and are required to create a variety of videos, which allow them to experience jobs more advanced than what is offered in the introduction Production course.

In addition, students are required to prepare for and participate in video concept, production, and design meetings to ensure that their requirements for the video needs and time-line expectations are being met to the expectation level of the Director and Production Manager.

Note: This class is for students interested in video production positions, not live productions.  If you are interested in live production, take the Live Production course instead.
