Professional Honors Acting

Professional Honors Acting is an advanced, GPA-weighted course in theater that builds on skills learned in Theater Arts.  Students must take Theater Arts as a prerequisite for the course as well as audition and interview for the class.  In this course, students will be required to audition for all Bear River productions and take part in at least one per year. Students will work independently on more advanced and challenging scene work and monologues from Shakespeare, Greek Theater, and classics of American theater. Students will choose, analyze, cast, and direct scenes for Final Scene night for Theater Arts students and will also perform in scenes.
